The Site is for information purposes only. We do not sell any products or services through the Site.

This agreement explains our obligations to the user of the Site ('User' or 'you'), and your obligations to us.
By using the Site in any way, you are agreeing to comply with these Terms of Use and Privacy Policy.

We may provide links to third-party websites. We do not recommend or endorse the content of any third-party website. We are not responsible for the content of linked third-party websites and we do not make any representations or warranties regarding their content or accuracy. Your use of third-party websites is at your own risk and subject to the terms and conditions of use for such websites. You expressly release us from any and all liability arising from your use of any third-party website.

Our Privacy Policy governs our information-handling practices as applicable to the users of our Site. This policy explains how we collect, use, disclose and protect users  information in accordance with relevant data protection laws and in particular the EU General Data Protection Regulation. By accessing and using the Site, you signify your acceptance to the terms of the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with any aspect of this policy, you should immediately discontinue access and use of our Site.

a. Our relationship to you

A 'User' is an individual providing us with personal data via our Site, such as by signing up to our email communications or submitting enquiries to us on our Site form. Matt Ainsley is in a 'data controller' relationship with Users.
A 'Client' is a specific type of User that has engaged us to act as an agent (or as a 'Data Processor') by obtaining our Services. Matt Ainsley is in a 'data processor' relationship with Clients. Matt Ainsley does not conduct this type of relationship through the Site.

b. Collection of personal information

Matt Ainsley collects various types of Personal Information about you while you are using the Site. Information that is anonymised or aggregated in not 'Personal Information'.

We collect the following types of Personal Information:

  • Registration data - first name and email address
  • Online identifier - geolocation/tracking details, browser fingerprint, OS, browser name and version, IP addresses

c. Purposes of processing

We collect such Personal Information for the following purposes:

  • To provide customer service - when you contact us through the Site we process your Personal Information to respond to your questions and feedback. Without processing your Personal Information for such purposes, we cannot respond to your requests.
  • To engage in marketing activities - when you give your specific consent by subscribing to our email newsletter, we may send you marketing communications about our services from time to time. These will be sent by email only. We may use interaction data to provide you with targeted marketing communications. You can opt out of marketing communications at any time.
  • To create aggregated statistical data - for example total number of site visitors, traffic and demographic patterns.

e. Retention

We are committed to keeping your Personal Information secure. We limit our storage of your Personal Information to the amount of time necessary to fulfil the purposes for which we collected it. Contact information collected for marketing purposes is retained on an ongoing basis until you unsubscribe from our marketing communications. Thereafter we will add your contact information to our suppression list indefinitely to respect your unsubscribe request.

f. Direct marketing

Direct marketing includes any communications to you that are only based on advertising and promoting our services. We will only contact Users by email based on their specific consent. If you do not want us to use your Personal Information in this way, or to pass your Personal Information on to third parties to be processed and stored for marketing purposes, please click the unsubscribe link in your emails or contact us at hello@mattainsley.com . You can do this at any time and free of charge.

7. Indemnification

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Matt Ainsley assumes  no liability or responsibility for any (i) errors, mistakes, or inaccuracies of content; and (ii) any unauthorised access to or use of our secure servers and/or any and all personal information stored therein.

9. Amendments and changes to the agreement

We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Use and Privacy Policy from time to time at our sole discretion. Therefore you should review these pages periodically. When we change the Agreement in a material manner, we will notify you that the material changes have been made to the Agreement. Your continued use of the Site after any such change constitutes your acceptance of the new Agreement. If you do not agree to any future version of the Agreement, do not use or access (or continue to access) the Site.

10. Dispute Resolution

These Terms of Use and Privacy Policy, the rights and remedies provided hereunder, and any and all claims and disputes related hereto and/or to the Site, shall be governed by, construed under and enforced in all respects solely and exclusively in accordance with the internal substantive laws of England, without respect to its conflict of laws principles. Any and all such claims and disputes shall be brought in, and you hereby consent to them being decided exclusively by a court of competent jurisdiction located in London.
